There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, prior experience or knowledge in project management is advantageous and can help you better understand key concepts and apply learning to real-world situations.

To enrol in this qualification, participants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older

  • Hold a minimum of a High School Certificate (or equivalent)

  • Be able to commit to the full course duration and study requirements

As part of the pre-enrolment process, your language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) skills will be assessed to ensure the course is suitable for you and that any necessary support can be identified early.

For the theory components, you also need to have access to a computer with internet connection, as well as access to the Microsoft Office Applications.

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government through the Smart and Skilled program.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are 15 years old or over

  • Are no longer at school

  • Live or work in NSW

  • Are an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen

If you answered “Yes” to all of the above, you can enrol in a government-subsidised course with Living Planit.

Assessment may include some or all of the following methods:

  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and/or Credit Transfer

  • Class activities and presentations

  • Knowledge questions

  • Practical performance assessments (workplace or simulated)

These assessments are designed to ensure you can demonstrate the skills and knowledge required for your qualification.

Your previous work experience or formal qualifications may count towards your course. If you have completed study at a recognised training organisation or have relevant industry experience, you may be eligible for credit transfer or recognition of prior learning (RPL). This can reduce the number of units you need to complete and shorten your overall study time.
