Learner Rights and Responsibilities
Living Planit is committed to providing a fair, respectful, and supportive learning environment that helps every learner achieve their goals. We uphold your rights under the Standards for RTOs 2025, the National VET Regulator Act 2011, and relevant legislation. As a learner, you are expected to provide accurate information, attend and engage in training, act respectfully toward others, and maintain academic integrity.
Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) Assessment
As part of the pre-enrolment process, your language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) skills will be assessed to ensure the course is suitable for you and that any necessary support can be identified early.
The results of your LLND assessment will be shared with your trainer and/or assessor. This allows them to tailor support strategies to your individual learning needs and help you successfully complete your course.

Support Services and Reasonable Adjustments
We are committed to helping every learner succeed by providing access to support services that meet individual learning needs. If you experience challenges with your studies, language, literacy, numeracy, digital skills, or personal circumstances, our trainers and support team are available to assist you. We also provide reasonable adjustments to ensure fair access to training and assessment for learners with a disability, medical condition, or other special requirements. These adjustments maintain the integrity of the qualification while supporting equal opportunity for all learners.
Unique Student Identifier (USI)
All students undertaking nationally recognised training in Australia must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Your USI allows you to access your training records and results from all registered training organisations in one secure location. You can create your USI online at www.usi.gov.au
or authorise Living Planit to obtain one on your behalf. Please provide your USI before training begins, as we are unable to issue qualifications or statements of attainment without it.
Fees, Refunds and Consumer Protection
Living Planit is committed to transparency and fairness in all financial matters. Before enrolment, you will receive clear information about course fees, payment terms, and any additional costs. Fees must be paid as agreed to secure your place in the course. If you withdraw or your training is cancelled, you may be entitled to a refund in accordance with our Fees and Refunds Policy. We comply with state and Commonwealth consumer protection laws to ensure your rights are protected.
Extensions, Deferrals and Withdrawals
We understand that personal or professional circumstances can sometimes affect your study progress. If you need more time to complete assessments, you may apply for an extension before the due date. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness and consistency. If you need to defer your studies or withdraw from your course, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Our team can provide guidance on the process, any impacts on your enrolment or fees, and options for re-enrolment when you are ready to continue.
Complaints and Appeals
We value feedback and are committed to resolving all concerns fairly, promptly, and confidentially. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your training, assessment, or service, you are encouraged to raise the issue with your trainer or the support team in the first instance. If the matter is not resolved, you may lodge a formal complaint or appeal in writing. All complaints and appeals are handled in accordance with our Complaints and Appeals Policy, which ensures transparency, impartiality, and the right to an independent review where required.

Living Planit is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with privacy legislation and the Data Provision Requirements 2012. We collect only the information necessary to enrol you, manage your training, and report to regulatory bodies. Your information is stored securely and used responsibly.
