As an approved NSW Smart and Skilled Training provider, Living Planit provides fully subsidised Skillset Program (Targeted Priorities Prevocational and Part Qualification Programs) to help employers to improve the capability of employees and those moving into work to maintain relevance as jobs augment through technology.

This program is administered by Training services NSW (TSNSW). The Department has responded to emerging industries and identified industries’ needs through specific sub-programs that support priority industries and groups*.

Requirements

This program requires a minimum 10 prospective students per group to submit the application. To be eligible for this program, students MUST:

  • 15 years old or over
  • no longer at school
  • living or working in NSW
  • an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen
Available Courses

Up to 5 units of competency can be selected from the following qualifications:

  • BSB41515 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
  • BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management
  • BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management

NB. mixed units can also be selected from above 3 qualifications.

STEP 1 - Identify Training Needs

Living Planit will discuss with the employer to determine training needs and select the units of competency that best meet the training needs. This can include customising training to suit students and industry.

STEP 2 - Submit Application

An application will be prepared by Living Planit and submit to the Training Services NSW (additional supporting documents might be requested).

Training Services NSW will assess the application and determine whether there is an identified need and if it will provide subsidise to meet this identified need.

NB. You should allow a minimum of 21 days for review and a response from Training Services NSW.

STEP 3 - Application Approved

If the application is approved, Living Planit will inform the employer in a timely manner. Enrolment and delivery preparation will commence. If the application is approved, there is NO fee payable by the employer or eligible students, training will be fully subsidised by the NSW government.

NB. If the application is rejected. Living Planit will notify the employer and discuss alternative solutions.

STEP 4 - Training Delivery

Living Planit will confirm training details with the employer and start course delivery as scheduled. The employer is required to support all students to attend and complete the training. All training activities will be reported to the Training Services NSW on a regular basis.
